I always wanted to cut an over/under Celtic knot with which I had only limited success. Richard worked out how to achieve this with his laser.Nice work Alan. Is that laser cut?
Many thanks, Mark!My first love in penturning was beautiful blanks that shine with their natural beauty. BUT, I also embrace technology and advances that further the options for us as artisians and craftsfolks to display our skill and creativity. Superb segmenting and superb turned pen. Compliments to both collaborators.![]()

Thank you, Hank. The pen is Black Walnut with Canarywood knot.Excellent and love the wood segments on both ends too!
Not a problem. I just was checking just in case you did figure it out and was hoping you would share. You have shown me a few ideas over the years that you keep working on and keep getting better at so I never know with you. Keep up the great work. One of these days I hope to jump back into many different projects. Have a few ideas of my own that I want to try. Looks good.I always wanted to cut an over/under Celtic knot with which I had only limited success. Richard worked out how to achieve this with his laser.
I couldnt do it any other way. I know I've let the side down!!!!!!!
