Continuing on my Caribbean timber theme - two more for gifts next year. I used Mahogany as end caps for the first time and am not a fan. I prefer a darker/more distinct visual separation. Hotel card veneer, glu-boost finish.

I also agree that a darker wood for the end caps would make a more attractive pen. Just my taste. At any rate the primary wood is very nice and the workmanship is excellent.
