I know... "No Pics, Didn't Happen." But you are going to have to take my word on this one. I forgot to take pics of the receipt.
We have a regional hardware/supply chain, called Marvin's in Alabama and Mississippi. Recently they made the decision to close their store in my home town.
As part of their store closing sale, one June weekend everything in the store was 50% of it's retail price. I found a Porter Cable LR893PK router set, factory sealed in the case. This router set normally retails from $240 - $260, depending on where you find it. With 9% sales tax, my total purchase totaled just under $140.
Now for the real gloat... When I got the router home and went online to register the router for the warranty, etc. I learned that this particular Router currently had a $30 rebate open. So I filled in the forms and mailed it in with my receipt.
My $30 rebate check arrived in the mail this week.
All said, I have a brand new LR893PK router set for less than $110. :banana:
