Rookie in Oklahoma

Greetings!

I inherited a lathe a couple months ago.My Dad was turning a pen for my Mom and sadly passed away before he could finish it.I picked up the torch and attended a class at woodcraft just to figure out what the heck I was doing!

Since that one class I have completed about 10 pens and the list has begun from family members wanting a pen turned on Dad's machine.I get a real sense of closeness with Pop as I am using the same tools as he did.Now I just have to figure out all the attachments!!!

This forum has become a godsend and a boon.I get all the info I need and projects that are going to take a long time to get right.

But with Tuteledge I am on my way......
