I don't make many rollerballs, due to lack of demand from my client base, but I occasionally will make them as Christmas or other presents. This is a Christmas present a family friend commissioned for her son, that I finished up this afternoon. It's made from a blue/gray vintage acetate. I made the trim and clip from argentium silver, and the pen uses a pilot g2 refill. It's always fun to make rollerballs, and this was no exception!

Great looking pen. I really like the clip. And that's a great piece of acetate.

John, that's really nice. Where do you get acetate?

Unfortunately, you're unlikely to get a response (or at least the actual seller). The material is finite in its availability (in the truest sense), so when a source is found, folks probably don't want to draw a lot of attention to it. While not exactly the same stock, here is a fairly reliable source for the tube-variety of vintage cellulose acetate from the same era/origin... https://www2.theturnersworkshop.co....30-40s-vintage-pen-rod-cellulose-acetate.html
The same site sells other vintage material too.
