I am looking for some guidence on rod building. I have been wanting to do this for years and have even built a manuel rod wrapper (almost done). I would like some advice on good starter kits for sinning rods. My criteria is full size alumn reel seat, rod brakes down in 1/2 and the guides have 2 feet. I would like to build salt water spinning rods perhaps one day do a surf rod. Any one have some input? Any and all advice welcome.

1. Is that for beating the sins out of someone or for committing the sins:wink:

2. Went to a friend's church in college for a "special" college oriented sermon. The preacher was warning the girls to stay away from those sinning rods. and telling us gents to control them.

Many many more non-family friendly comments come to mind.

Been a rough morning and needed some silliness.

He looks to have expanded beyond the rod building,but the first time I saw his website, I drooled all over my keyboard at some of his custom road handles... he was pretty responsive to my emails asking questions and once had some tutorials on his site...

Well you think it was a sinning rod the way the wife goes on about my fishing...LOL It keeps me from my "to-do" list, you may not be aware but that list will never be finished....LOL
