I hate that decision. we have an 18yr old mutt that we will have to make that decision on in the near future. Sorry for your loss. I don't know the bible well but god made man the keeper of all the animals. It is our duty to see that they never suffer.

These type threads always bring a tear to my eye, our late life child Tony the corgi is 11 and it scares the crap out of me that I would have to one day put him down. Your Terminator will always be a part of you and your family.

One of the agonies of having a loved pet is the foreknowledge of the short time you have with them. A greater joy is the remembrance of the love you had when they were with you. Godspeed.

Sorry for your loss. Had to do that for our dachshund about a month ago. I still listen for him to come running when I get home from work. Very hard thing to do but the best thing for our pets when the time comes. We can't know some of the pain and suffering they endure just to keep them around for our own benefit. You have to put them first as they do with us.

very sorry to hear this, I had to put my Peg down back in June. Sure miss her.
We got a new Puppy in September and Starbuck is great but he is not Peg, I will love him too but differently.

Sorry for your loss my friend, I just 2 weeks ago had to put down our Dandie Dinmont "Toby Dog" after having the little stinker for 16 years, I hated it !!
