Rikon 70-220VSR mounting holes

We were able to come up with the money for a new lathe. I'm going to get the Rikon 70-220VSR since it's on sale this month. I think I'm going to bolt it down to my stand and I was wonder if anyone can tell me what size the mounting holes are. I want to have the bolts on hand when I get the lathe.

I don't have one but I looked at the instructions for the 70-920 stand and it appears that they use M8 size bolts (parts 1-4 on the diagram) to attach the lathe to the stand. That would be my best guess.

Good choice for a lathe!!!

Memory is that 3/8 bolts will work for the midi lathes, and the length will depend on what you put under it

To be absolutely certain, you could call Rikon. I did that before I picked up my Rikon 8" slow speed grinder last December (so that I would have the right size bolts). The guy I talked to was very nice and very helpful. That alone would induce me to buy more Rikon tools

Looking at my lathe stand I think I'm going to wait until I see just were the lathe is going to sit I may need lag bolts or nuts and bolts.
