Here is a Woodcraft Rhinehart in redwood burl. I had to do some infilling with Tru-Stone. It worked well. I think I will do some more infill in the future. The finish is CA I think about 349 coats, at least it feels like it.

The pen feels bulky and a little top heavy.

Nice job. Love using a little inlay to overcome the "flaws" in the wood. My only comment is that it looks like you are using the clip to try to "hide" the inlay. I'd be putting that little detail out where it can be seen and enjoyed!

I turn between centers. I haven't used bushings in a long time. I have a metal lathe so I chuck up a piece of aluminum and turn a center point and go to it.
