Revamped into a semi kit-less?

:tongue: Some of you might remember that I posted a pen a week or so ago that had a custom Koko clip made by Bruce Robbins that was double closed end. Well I dropped the top of the pen then proceeded to step on it. Being pissed it putting it mildly, so I checked that the clip wasn't damaged and decided that lets turn sour lemons into lemonade. The original used a Jr. Gent coupler and C/B, this is the new version along with the destroyed top.

How did you get the plastic threads out, or did you just use another one?

Skippy, the insert was also destroyed, so when I decided to make a custom C/B I used a new insert and found that the OD was too small and would not work, so I cut a 1/2 off a sketcher tube which fit snug into the upper barrel tube, this worked out perfect, so I epoxied the insert on the sketcher tube and then epoxied the sketcher tube into the upper barrel .

Man that is one sweet pen. That sucks that the first one got messed up but you did an awesome job on the replacement.
