I've had to disassemble my HDEP mold to get the blank out. When I reassemble it would silicone sealant or hot melt glue be better? Hot melt glue is much cheaper. We originally used silicone seal after finding a few leaky spots to seal them up for the first use. I don't intend to do many more pores but am using up some stabilized pieces someone on this board was kind enough to stabilize for me. Who knows though, it may be addicting.

I have used both effectively. It takes very little silicone to seal them up, where I tend to use more hot glue. I also have a very HOT, hot glue gun so it seals well. I often use silicone wiped down if sealing on the inside of the mold. I use hot glue on the outside and on all disposable molds.
