Retro Jr Tolerance

Blame it on summer.

I was trimming a barrel and got some sweat on my glasses. Distorted my vision just enough that I trimmed the blank and brass both.

I'm working on a Jr Retro, but I think it's the same dimensions and the Jr Gent and Jr Statesman.

My big barrel (cap) is now about 1/8 short. Does anyone know how tight the tolerance is on these? Am I going to be able to get my cap to close correctly?

Yea, just as long as the upper tube is long enough to accept the nib end when you screw them together you should be fine. I purposefully shorten the upper barrel of some of my pens.

Agreed. It appears you should still have plenty of room for the nib.
