The just in from Ball Point Pen Central. We know that many of you have stayed up way past your bedtime just to hear the results of the Ball Point Pen contest. Well, here you go...
I was also just informed that our 4th and 5th place winners will receive a $25 gift certificate to the IAP vendor of their choice. The competition was tough all the way around.

Yahoo! There are some really great pens here. Congrats to each of the finalists. There is some fantastic segmenting represented here. Krash, yours was a sweet scallop on a great looking blank. Cody, your pen is phenomenal. Is that from a blank you made or did you create it - I find it quite stunning.

Seth - your pen is well done and the pieces are very consistent.

Greg - 125 pieces - wow. A great pen.

Man this was a rough one. The competition was pretty fierce. Congratulations to Stephen and Kelly for 1st and 2nd respectively and Seth and Greg for making the top 5.

Stephen, I did make my blank by cutting up jewel beetle wings and gluing each piece on a painted tube and then casting. I think that it is the best pen that I have made so far.

Wow, i didnt know there was a 5th place! Thanks all. I am going to enter this contest until i win it i think. Will look for it at the next BASH.

I tried that ..... when the prizes to go all the way to 24th place I've got a lock on it!
