I purchased this socket chisel from an estate for a quarter. The handle was long gone. The steel was in rough shape. The chisel is 1.5" wide, with handle it is 18" long (12" before handle).

The multi-facet scraper is made using a replacement tip from Sorby. The body is 1/2" steel rod. Ferrule is made from a 3/4" brass flare nut from a plumbing supply.

Both handles are turned from Bubinga.

Tim~ You did a wonderful job of restoring the chisel and turning tool scraper. Bubinga should make an durable handle for it. Its neat to get those tools ready for work again.

The original owner, possibly as long gone as the handles, would be very proud of your saving the still very useful tools and his once proud possessions.

Good job and well done!
