This is the first pen that someone else received with this treatment.
The pen from HERE.

Her response to the picture I sent to her:

Woah!!
The pics look awesome! That's so cool! I'm glad everything worked out well. I can't wait to see it in person!
I'm extremely impressed, I've never seen anything like that!
Can't wait to get my hands on mine!! :)
Thanks for the preview!

And after she received it:

I picked up the pen today and it's awesome!
I've been using it all day and writes so smoothly and effortlessly. I imagine it must have taken a ton of precision work. Thank you so much!

I think she likes it.

I think the 'response' fits. Your turnings always look great, and I'm pretty familiar with how just about all of the write....so I can understand the great comments!

Well done, another happy customer....maybe even a repeat someday soon!?!?!?

Scott (gotta love this) B

Thanks!

This is the first pen that was sent to someone. All of the other pens I've done, the person was right there and I could show them other pens I've done.
This was all done through email. It does feel nice knowing the recipient likes the pen as much as I do. I almost wasn't able to send it, almost.

I couldn't have ever imagined being able to do something like pens, until I found this place. There is so much inspiration here and such great craftsmen.

I'm beginning to hate the Jr Gent more and more because it seems to be a little maintenance heavy. That being said, I love your pens. It is no surprise to me that you wowwed a customer.

BTW, I tried to view your gallery and I couldn't because it requires flash. That precludes any iPad/iPhone surfer from being able to see it. If you use that gallery as a sales tool, you might want to rethink it.

Can you tell me why you feel it's maintenance heavy? What specific problems occur? I don't want to use something that introduces problems down the road. Especially when it takes a couple of weeks to make one.:frown:

I don't use my gallery as a sales tool, I just thought it would be nice to have one place to compile the pens I've made. It makes it easy to modify and keep track of everything. I would like for everyone to be able to view it. How can I make it viewable for Apple people? I just used what the site has to offer, but if I can change it, I will.
