Respirator

Does anyone use the "Resp-O-Rator" respirator? I would appreciate your input. Thanks.

One club member used one and found that saliva builds up and makes it very uncomfortable.....seems like you would be better with just a dust filter from any home center.....

I havent used one but I did see one. Didnt think that it would be very confortable. Agree with Russ about the saliva.

Being a person with "full facial hair", I use a Racal positive air flow helmet. There is a business in Minnesota that sells rebuilt ones. If I can find his card, I will post the information. Maybe a search for 3-M respirators will turn up something. Nice feature is full face shield, hard hat and filtered air. Nothing like a hard hat when you find a hidden flaw and wood exits the lathe at a rapid pace.
