The ratchet on the back of my face shield is missing...and now the shield doesn't stay on my head comfortably without sliding down.

ANyone know where I can get replacement parts for a face shield? In Canada, it's almost impossible to find new ones, as they're being bought up for dentist offices, etc. I'm going to have to try and fix this one. A zip tie wasn't a good solution...

(And don't get me started on replacement visors - everything is a 'spittle shield' right now, regardless of what it appears to say in the descriptions online. Thin plastic, and not worth the risk).

Assuming your head doesn't swell up with pride too often you know the setting the headband is usually on. I would drill a couple small holes and pop rivet it to that size. With the heads on the inside of the band and maybe a small washer on the upset side it should last for a long time. Some cloth over the rivet heads will protect the most sensitive skin. ;)
