i was assembling a cigar click top pen last night, not tonicing the click mechanism had dropped from the desk to the floor. noticed it was gone, and when i rolled me desk chair back to look on the ground, i heard a crunch that made me cringe.

so, now i need to know where to get replacement click mechanisms. i already emailed PSI since that's where i got it, but is there another source any of you go to for replacement parts?

for future use, it'd be good to know where to go for pretty much everything. i've had customers loose the click top itself because their kid took the pen apart, somebody lost the tip to a twist pen, and i have no clue where to find replacement tubes for the larger kits like the purfume atomizer or the el grande.

anything would help at this point.

I would stick w/ PSI but would call them. I had a Patrizio Nib that was bad and they replaced it no problem. I am sure they may charge for the part in this case but they may not. I have had to dea l w/ thier Customer Service a couple of times and they are awesome.

As far as the tubes I cant help but I am sure PSI can. I have not moved to those off sizes because of that......I still mess up quite a bit and buy the 10" tubes in the various sizes and cut them w/ a tubing cutter.

I just googled a 19/32 tube and it seems HUT has them. Here is the PDF I found. It would likely be best to call and confirm compatability prior to ordering.

It seems like as time goes by, I end up scavaging parts from just about every kind of kit that we make. The remainder of the kits go in a bin and await my next need for a part.

As for ordering parts, some kits and finishes are easy, while some are hard. I imagine that the click mechanism for a cigar pencil would go on the 'hard' list, unless the mechanism itself is shared with another kit. Even then, it might not typically be sold separately.

(Most parts are available by special order from the manufacturer/wholesaler, but then you get into minimum orders/lead time/international shipping issues.)
