I've sent a few PM's and nothing in return. We are doing a serious relocate to Reno and would like to know if there are any other turners...pen groups...anything? I can do this by myself, but local friends are good to have! Be there next weekend.

IAP member Daniel Yordon lives in Reno and as you know there is the North/Central California group. Dan and his wife have driven over the hill to go with me to a few meetings. I know of nothing in Northern Nevada. Let me know when you get there and I will drive over the hill to me you.

Jim, I live in Fallon, just an hour out of Reno you are always welcome to visit, I like making sawdust and pens. Robbie
Jim; Fallon is a nice little town.I spent a good amount of time at NAS Fallon when I was in the Navy. Got in trouble for walking on the "grass" whichwhich was really concrete painted green, that was in the late 70's it changed a lot over 20 years. I would check out the area just for a look see and to meet a fellow turner.

What don't want to use the Bullet train? We used to race in Clovis and at Kearny Bowl years ago.
I used to be a flight controller at the Reno Cannon/Tahoe airport. Did some work for Reno Air as well. Loved Reno. If you like the outdoors, it's a great place to be. You could be up to Tahoe in about 20-30 minutes, have a beautiful hike and then come back down the hill and catch some "big name" entertainment in the evening. It was wonderful!
