Doing shop cleaning and just ran across about half of a bottle each of 4 pound bottles of illuminate clear slow part A & B. The part B has hardened. Has anyone had any luck rejuvenating it so that it can be used? Don't know how long I've had this. Just thought I would post a question.

I have a gallon container that started to crystalize. The bottom inch of the jug was hard as a rock and there was probably 2" of softer crystalized material on top of that. I called Alumilite to see if it could be saved and they told me to let it sit in hot water to essentially melt the crystals. You have to heat the resin to something like 112 degrees to melt it. It me several days off an on pouring boiling water in the sink and changing out the water to get it to the point that I could not see any more crystals in the the resin. I also used a small paddle mixer and a drill to mix it up good as it was heating. It was a pain in the butt but I saved a $100 jug of resin.

I've also had luck saving resin that way. I had to replace the hot water about every hour for a couple days to get it thinned out enough to stir and pour but I was able to use it. Good luck!

I'll give that a try and with changing the water often. It will probably be the weekend before I can get to it.
Thanks to all that replied.
