Hi Guys, I'm offering four lots of my really nice old growth redwood lace burl pen blanks. I love this stuff. I've logged in areas very near where this burl came from and also the location of the vintage piece below.
Here is a pic of a yarding cable guide/bumper that the old time loggers spiked to the bottom of stumps. There was a large pin/shaft that was driven into the stump, the cable rode in the groove which reduced friction when yarding those huge logs. I found this piece within a few miles of the historic logging and mill town of Falk, located in Humboldt County, northern California...home of the pen blanks below this pic.
