After doing a Cigar Illusion in HRB, I wanted to try another burl.
This one turned out really thin and I reinforced all the wood with thin CA. Redwood lace burl is very dry and it took the thin CA like a spounge.
This is a Gold Titanium fountian pen with a Bock 250M nib. (6mm)

It's on my ETSY site and I will soon have a bunch of my Cigar Illusion pens on the ETSY site. Fun fun.
Thanks for looking. Comments always welcome.

Many thanks to IAP Memeber Jim Burr for really helping out with cigar bands. All parts of this pen were received from members of the IAP.

Thank you Ken from Kallenshaan woods for the engraved box. It's not the box I'm going to be using for my Cigar Illusion pens, but it worked really well for this particular pen.

Martin

Your work always amazes me. It makes me want to go try one but there are still a few thing I need to figure out first. Great work, keep it up.

 ...

I'm still drooling over my HRB pen you did, but this is sweet looking! The burls add an extra level of class to these pens! Great looking work! As always

Martin, Outstanding as always, I'll bet the Redwood burl would soak up a bit of CA, Redwood is pretty soft any way and Burl?? How many pints did it take <LOL>

The difficult thing with the beautiful burl woods is putting a cigar band over it. I would almost rather make a really nice closed end instead. Thanks for the compliments. I'm really enjoying doing these.
