So there is a benefit of living close to ExoticBlanks - getting to stop by. Yes it is 90 miles away, but it is my "Field Of Dreams". So when I was there I saw the redwood burl Ed mentioned in a post a few weeks back. I don't do a lot of wood but picked up a piece. I love the look - and the small knots and eyes. Sorry the picture never does these things justice. The benefits of living in Chicago (yes - I said that).

Very nice! I wish I lived close enough to drive there! I ordered twice from them in 2 days this weekend. Then my wife told me we need more boxes. Lol

That is a very nice Pen never turn your back on Wood for me its the finest material to work with and you Pen proves that. Yes it as imperfections but its natural and nature's not perfect. Great effort.
