redheart artisan f.p.

This is a redheart on an artisan fountain pen.This wood was really soft.But turned o.k. as long as you were light on the touch. My first f.p. with the snap cap instead of screw threads. So far so good.

Nicely turned.[] Is Redheart usually soft or was this an exception?
