I was in the shop for a couple of hours today and i decided to use up some red oak scrap pieces that was lying around. The design is simple and one that just popped up in my mind. They are made from 3/4 inch thick pieces. I was pleased how they came out and i really like the way they look with pens on them. I made them for slimlines and wall street II's. I hope you enjoy them. Yep, and an unruly nine year old kid will do just that! :biggrin:

Just a suggestion.... I all but eliminated the bumping problem by drilling two holes in the base and glueing rare earth magnets into the holes. On my display stands I glued thin metal strips. Once covered with material you can't see a thing and the strength of the magnets "anchors" the stands to the metal plates. I've got some photos if you're interested in seeing them.
