Red Malee Burl

I just got an order from my AUSSIE wood supplier and her is one of the red malees he sent. Went with a gold standard pen instead of Platinum this time. Comments welcome. Its too shiney to get a good pic ! hehe

I love it. I also like that you have a bit of sapwood at the clip. Red Mallee is my favorite burl so far. I've got a 14 pound cap, just waiting for me to get my butt in gear and cut up. Nice pen and I wish I had that shiny problem.[]

Red Mallee burl is stunningly beautiful. And your pen compliments it. I recently decided to not buy some from Aussie land because of the high cost of shipping, really adds to the per blank price. Hope you charge enough for your very unique pen.

Nice pen, I have some Red Mallee I am waiting to turn. It was suppose to be stabilized but as it has dried in my garage it has formed some voids. Going to re-stabilize it or fill in the voids with something.
