Brian's Red Fossilized Fantasy from Exotic Blanks has shavings of brass throughout and goes perfectly with the Princess Pen for a pen with bling. I need to figure out how to increase traffic on my Etsy shop. I'm sure this would make some lady happy at Christmans!

Pretty pen but will the exposed brass tarnish or did you put some type of finish over it?

Thanks all! The brass shavings are encased in the resin and exposed at the turned surface. As I don't usually put a CA finish on resin blanks my guess is that they could tarnish over time. I've seen that happen with my brass and copper pins and spacers used in segmented resin pens. A swipe with a little brass cleaner shines them right up. Does anyone put a CA finish on resin blanks??

I put CA on blanks that have anything imbedded in it.
