Smitty, the red one... is that a pine cone blank?
No it isn't...I don't care much what the blank I get is....it is for my grandson and he likes that color...or something close. It has some gold srtiping in part of it but mostly it's a fairly bright red. On second thought it might well be but it will be being turned down to a slim slimline so I don't think pine cone would do much....something close in the color.

LeRoy,
It sure looks like one of Jeff Powell's pine cone blanks.
I have one here if you need it. Just shout.

It might be....but what I get will be turned to a very small slimline which would seem a waste for a real nice blank, my grandson liked the color but he also wants a straight very slim slimline pen.

I have corian color "Hot...Hot...Hot" which is bright red. It's 1/2" but I have no problem making slims when I dril on my lathe. I can pre-drill it for you if you like.

I also have a bowling ball blank very similar to that if you need it.
