These recycled skateboard blanks are starting to turn into a bit of an addiction for me. They're fun to turn and the color in them really tells their story. I experimented with a BLO finish on this one so it didn't POP quite as much as my last one but it feels great in the hand

Have you considered cutting these boards at an angle to spread out the colors. Some turners used to do that with diamond wood.
