Can't remember from what . . .
The doc tried me on something called Namenda. It really messed me up more. But after the "trial" was over and things settled down, my brain is functioning more reliably than it had. Seems it kind of jump started something. I haven't been back on the lathe yet. But am hoping to give it a shot soon.

I have been reading and trying to keep up with everyone here. I'm really sorry about the rough times so many of my friends are going through now. I wish I could do more than just say that my prayers are with "ya."

That sounds like good news... right? That you are better after getting off of the medicine I mean, not that it messed you up in the first place. Hang in there!

Per Google

Memantine (Namenda) is in a class of medications called NMDA receptor antagonists. It works by decreasing abnormal activity in the brain.

Get back to the lathe. Has the same affect and is a lot cheaper

Get to feeling better soon...

Steve
