It's been a while since I posted anything and I thought I would share some recent pens I did as a thank you for the construction team I was part of for a rather challenging project.
From left to right the woods are
Curly maple
Chechen
Blackwood
Shedua
Spalted Maple

Very nice. I have never heard of Shedua, it looks close to some chechen I have.

Ken, I do like the Shedua, the grain pattern and coloring is really pleasing to my eye. I got it as part of the blank sale that IAP was having a year or two ago (I think). When I run out I will need to try to find some more.
