Saying Happy Birthday Penpal yesterday left the Working With Wood Show before noon to come home and change to go to some secret place paid for by our 2nd daughter in Queensland. Our ACT Woodcraft Guild are sponsored each year to hold our annual Exhibition at this three day show, saves is 14000 dollars each year so I was as usual a Steward at the event.

At noon we were picked up in a limo and taken to the Hyatt Hotel for a two hour Buffet lunch.This was the best kept secret in our house ever.

The meal was incredible a few pics of and one of our four waiters took a pic of us. My birthday is today dinner with the family tonight at the Club. You only turn 80 once married 59 years now.

Congratulations! The photos are wonderful and you and your wife make a very handsome couple. My wife and I have been married for 50 years. You have us beat. Have many more happy years.

Congrats Peter, 59 years married is very impressive. Reaching 80 also. Me and the missus will celebrate our 40th this year. What are you and your wife going to do for the next 59?
