Here is a link to a really good article on casting and the various different casting resins. It was written by Christopher Pardell who is a pretty famous caster/sculpter. It is not pen blank specific but does have some really good information.

The last three paragraphs of this article is where I found the info on vacuum and pressure. It is one of the best articles I've read on casting resins. Thanks Curtis for sharing.

The last paragraph is where I got the 60 psi for urethane resin casting!! I knew I was not crazy and had read it somewhere!
