I was driving home from Sedona the other day when I got a urgent call of nature. I pull off on a dirt road and found a root burl, though it was mesquite but the wood is to white and soft. Not sure what the wood is so if you have any ideas let me know. The pictures show the progress as I worked on the vase.
Where there is a large crack I put some dowels with glue to keep it from cracking worse. The finish is orange oil and bees wax and yes I do have a bloody sore knuckle. That hurts!!!!
