I recently did several BOW pens for my church's Xmas bazaar. Here is a platinum and black titanium Sierra. Of the ones I did, this one was my personal favorite, the wood was curly and had beautiful figure to it.
The finish on all of the pens for this batch was Enduro. Based on some posts I read here on IAP, I dipped the blanks twice and set the drying rack on a radiator for the night. Worked very well! I'm done with CA, this is a lot simpler and there is practically no sanding involved afterwards, just a little touch-up for the occasional dust nib. A few seconds with Huts plastic polish and you are good to go.
Turns out this is the only pen left with a half-day to go, the black and chrome Sierras all sold. Hmmm. I don't think I'll waste my time paying for the higher end platings if chrome is OK with the buying public.
