Re-Introduction.... Back to turning pens!!

I turned about two dozen pens last year before my lathe died, and I have really missed turning. My wife recently prompted me to get a new lathe so she could give pens for x-mas, and who was I to argue? Here are a few from this week. The first segmented one was an expiriment, and hopefully I can get all the joints to line up on the next one. All comments appreciated.

The woods are:
Chokte kok w/ walnut and maple

Mesquite

Unknown wood

Red gum eucalyptus w/ maple and walnut

Unknown wood

Desert ironwood burl

I sure am glad you got another lathe! Great pens but that one at the top is simply gorgeous. One more cleaning the lines up and you can ask your own price!

Now THAT'S an introduction. WOW. Great looking pens. A lot of work in that first one.

The first one might be a little busy, but the design is really interesting the workmanship is really nice. Great job. The Red Gum Eucalyptus is also very nice and a design I've thought about doing for quite a while, but just never get to it.
