Re-making an older Kit pen.
This "Traditional" kit pen was found in a little poor condition-so had to clean and service it.
I had made this pen earlier into a hexagonal section pen by hand sanding the sides and there were many flaws in the construction primarily the cap and body were slightly off centre to each other and the ends of the cap and barrel were not made correctly matched to the couplers.
Re-made this pen in lathe, retained the old wood. Also serviced and tested the pen for writing.
The pen looks much better proportioned now. Plesae see the the older shape for comparison
