RB refill installed??

Don't know whether this is the right place to ask this but ...... when shipping a rollerball pen obviously the refill should accompany the pen but should it be installed or does it matter [?] I don't think I've ever come across this question here before.

I usually install them just so the customer simply opens the cap and starts writing. But I don't install the refills 'till I'm ready to ship, so they don't dry out too much.

I always ship my RB refills installed in the pens. Now a FP thats a different story. Those I put in a little bag by themself inside the box cause I have had those leaking when I have recevied pen kits. Not willing to take that chance with them installed in a pen.

Thanks guys. I thought that I should send it installed. I agree on the FP ink, I wouldn't ship that installed.
