I tried some wilder woods when making razors during Christmas and was rewarded with very good sales. In keeping with that here is a new one and a repeat of one that sold. The orange one is stabilized box elder burl from a Penn State grab bag. I strongly suggest you think about buying a bag. The blanks are (IMO) very good, short blanks at a cheap price. Sorry they are sold out right now.

The other one is very curly satin wood which sold as soon as it went on display. The chatoyance, though impossible to photograph, is off the charts. A customer picked up the razor and I asked him to turn it while looking at it closely. Sold!

Don't be afraid to widen your razor choices past beautiful brown woods and burls!
