Random segments rollerball with custom finial and center band.

It's been a while and I needed to make some new demo examples for my upcoming MPG demo on custom finials and center bands. I'd like to take credit for the blank but I was visiting Dick Sing a few days ago and he gave me a block of "busy block" which was sold years ago commercially of wood pieces all glued together. I took a slice off of it to make the pen. With multi directional grain I used plenty of ultra thin CA to help stabilize it. I like the end results. Will probably make a few more. All comments welcome.

I always prefer when the stock cabuchon is replaced by a piece of the material used for the barrels. Nice touch doing the cap band too

Very attractive. I've always loved the look of random segmenting as there are no alignment flaws to detract from the visual. You can simple appreciate the colors and grains. Very nice!
