I am neither proud nor pleased with this one but will be working on different technique's to make more of a patterned design on the next one rather than just rings .

I am off to play guitar and sing from 6.30 to about 11.00 this evening at the last coffee house of the season in a nearby village . .
Did some cutting and glue up this afternoon and the next bowl will be quite different .

I like that one. For an easy variation, Maybe slice the blank at about 5-10 degrees so the rings are angled slightly instead of just horizontal. You'll lose a little height...and you can either make the top parallel or let it also run at the slice angle for yet another simple variation...

I agree with the other comments above, in fact I have some bowls in ceramic of similar design and colors. Looking forward to your next creation.
