What is the difference between a Jr George and a Jr Gent? They look identical to me.

I think the jr George had subtle changes like a longer lower tube and a fancier clip, but the parts are pretty much interchangeable with the jr gent.

They are made by different manufacturers. Different name and subtle hardware differences.
There are a number of kits that are identical or nearly identical with different names for that same reason, it can get to be confusing.

Edgar, currently CSUSA is back to using Dayacom for the Jr. Gent, and, of course Dayacom is the source for the Jr. George.
I believe the Jr. Gent II is now only available to CSUSA, but Dayacom will sell the Jr. George to other companies (like ExoticBlanks).

I prefer the look of the Jr. George personally, but the differences between the two are minuscule in my opinion.

Doesn't the nib/section on the Jr. Gent have straight edges, while the Jr. George is curved?

I think that is right. I actually like the curved section much better than the straight.
