Question about using weebly

I set up and account with free weebly (http://downhomepens.weebly.com) to see how I like it and try my hand at webdesign. I noticed on some forums that others also using weebly just have www.thierdomain listed. Do I have to pay for the site to be able to do that?

Yes, you have to pay for the domain.

You have to pay for the domain but you do not have to pay weebly. I did this for my wife a couple months ago. We just bought the domain from godaddy for $5 and weebly had a simple tutorial that showed us how to link the domain to the weebly content we had created. Very easy and very cheap.

Her site is www.hatsforhannah.com if you want to see how it looks. The weebly logo is still on the bottom of every page, you have to pay to remove that, but at least she has her own domain.
