Question about MT adapters

My old lathe just bit the dust and I've got a JET 1014 VSI on the way. My old lathe had MT 1 head and tail stock and the JET has MT 2. So, here's the question...
Is there an adapter I can get to use with the JET to convert the MT 2 to MT 1 so I can use the MT 1 mandrel and live center I have or will I need to get a new mandrel and live center with the MT 2? I needs some edumacation:biggrin:.
 
Adapters are great and very useful particulary if you share chucks between different machines but if you now need them for both the HS and TS then I'd probably consider getting a new mandrel and live centre as the adaptors just add that little bit of error that you don't need and reduce the usable lathe bed length that you do need.
