Question About Dipping....

I am going to try to dip some of my pens. They say you should plug the tubes and use wire to hang them to dry. I have bought some dipping wire, but how do you guys plug the tube and run wire thru at the same time. Appreciate any help!

It was suggested to me to use candle wax to keep epoxy from getting inside the tube. I would think it would work just as well for a finish. You pack the wax in with the end of a drill bit. Well that would work for one end.[?]

You can use a variety of materials, including the baseplate wax that Bill Baumbeck sells, clay, or old potatos.

I do not plug the ends. When they dry and ready to assembly I run a rat tail file through the tube a couple of times and assembly.
