Question about bottle stoppers plating

Hi all!
I know that stainless steel of the bottle stoppers resist the alchool of the wine , but what about other plattings like chrome or Gold Titaniun or Titanium Nitride.

all plated kits will eventually pit, stay with SS ones if you want true quality

the acidity of the wine will make them pit and eventually peel. Surgical Stainless does not have this happen to it. That is what Ruth Niles bottle stoppers are made from and the rings are silicone.

Not just wine some of my customers use bottle stoppers for oil & or vinegar bottles. the acid from the vinegar will also pit platings

When it comes to metal stoppers I will never sell anything other than stainless.
