Here is the finished pen using the blank on the right in this post (http://www.penturners.org/forum/showthread.php?t=75730).
I finished this pen with a small variation. I used about 10 coats of "thin CA". In between coats, I used the back of a used sand paper to buff. Finished with 2 coats of HUT.
Reason - I have not mastered using medium CA. Very often I messed up during the last coating. You know the "just one more coat" philosophy.
And I found out using thin CA took less time to finish. With 10 coats of CA took me about 20 - 25 minutes.
The 4th picture shows the overlap joint.
Anyway, thanks for looking.
