that is amazing! (and inspiring in a "it will take me years and years to be able to do that, but I wanna!" sort of way) :)

edit:

and how did you cut all those pieces? were they flat and then you warped the wood, or was the wood already curved, and you have awesome jig saw skillz?

I did not cut the pieces. But, several species of wood are cut into blanks. Then drilled for the appropriate kit tubes. They are turned close to final diameter and the pieces are cut with a laser. The laser kits are available from Ken Nelsen at Kallenshaanwoods.com
