Greetings and Happy New Year.
I've used Pentel P205's since engineering school 40 years ago. This is a conversion of one of my originals. The body is curly koa with two coats of BLO, two coats of wipe-on poly and light steel wool rub down for a matte finish.
I used a Harbor Freight 6" long 1/4 bit for the long bore, a reamer for the clearance at the eraser end a 5/32" bit at the lead end. The dimensions are very close to the original pen body except it is round. I really like the feel of the wood and the size.
