Yes, it is a humble item to make, but my hand thanks me each time I use it. The orange portion is 3D printed and it fits the sacrificial 12"x6" 1/2" plywood. It is comfortable and the texture helps my grip. I bandsaw a small hook at the end to catch the workpiece. When damaged too much I resaw the bottom and use until too short for safety. I cut thin strips like in the cheese slicer so damage to the push stick can be expected, but not me. See last photo for the thin maple strips.
